What are the options for handling department mail if departments are closed?

•We can forward it to another address and charge it as a university expense.

What if my packages are delivered by outside carriers and left outside my an office?

On Danforth campus, they will be redirected to a university mail services office and you will be notified.

What if I am expecting a delivery by FedEx, UPS or another outside carrier?

Please coordinate with the respective carrier to redirect or delay any non essential packages.

If FedEx, UPS or another carrier attempt delivery to closed offices?

Tthey may be redirected and you will be notified or they may be returned to sender by the carrier.

Will we continue to receiving USPS mail and packages?

Yes, we will hold for departments unless you request that we deliver it or mail it to an alternate address.

What happens if I am expecting a check from the University?

AP or Payroll office will coordinate with Mail Services to mail checks to home address. 

To expedite, specify you want it mailed and provide address.

We are opening a window at the North Campus 700 Rosedale Ave, St. Louis, MO 63112 for departments to come and pick up their mail. If you pick up mail for a department you must take all of the mail and packages for your department.

Window for pick up: Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 11:00 am.

This is a no contact pick up. Please contact someone at 314-935-4011 prior to coming or email lmbrady@wustl.edu so that we can have your mail and packages ready for pick up.
